About the Job:

As a Lead Cargo Network Operations Control Officer, you will solve network operational disruptions within the freighter operation with predictive precision for the CCC window of next 24 hours through live monitoring, preventative action and communicating to relevant stakeholders. You will act as a technical expert, in order to take informed decisions on cargo to minimize operational, commercial and network  scheduling impact (example, airspace closure, AOG, crew flight time limitations, curfew, technical, weather and political issues). You will provide guidance to all stake holders within the freighter operations comprising of GHAs, IOC partner teams, QR operations staff and senior management to ensure clarity around operational, commercial and network scheduling priorities and goals for the freighter operations. 

You will be the focal point for freighter disruptions for the operational and network stakeholders.  You will be responsible to alert and recommend course of action to CCC Manager on safety contingencies, emergencies, operational, commercial and network scheduling impact. 

Some of the responsibilities include; 

·         Ensure measures and SOPs are in place to protect the Freighter Schedule Integrity (FSI), anticipate issues that could impact the freighter operations. 
·         Continually monitor and take pro-active actions to avoid or minimize disruptions to flight schedules. 
·         Responsible for operational decisions within the Cargo Control Centre scope . 
·         Check with station and shipment controller if cargo is delivered on time. 
·         Review booking vs security restrictions/embargoes.

About You:

You will need to hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent with minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Experience working in IOC/OCC for a reputable cargo forwarder is preferred.
Understanding of key stakeholder functions including GHAs, network stations, cargo operations, IOC, crew control,, fuel OCC, flight dispatch , NAVATM, engineering and maintenance, load masters, network planning, charter operations, dangerous goods, cargo compliance, corporate safety and security, cargo sales and customer experience.
You should have good presentation skills and should have decision making ability.
